Type-2 Special Forces Phaser

Commissioned by Starfleet Special Forces, Starfleet R&D and the Daystrom Institute developed the SF Type-2 phaser to meet the demands of hostile environments. Tested in limited numbers in 2371 and fully deployed by 2373, the design deliberately returned to a more traditional form, prioritising reliability over refinement. The SF Type-2 offers improved ergonomics, secure handling and dependable operation under extreme conditions. Following the Dominion War, Commodore McEntyre (then Captain) ordered the model to become standard issue aboard all ships under his command.

Type-3 Phaser Rifle

The Type-3 phaser rifle provides superior firepower through a rotating internal powercell system, allowing for sustained use in the field without manual recharging. Capable of firing beams, pulses and bolts, the Type-3 is a highly versatile weapon, allowing for modifications of the scope, barrel and powercells to suit mission requirements.

TR-116 Rifle

Developed by Starfleet Security for missions where energy weapons cannot be used, the TR-116 rifle fires tritanium bullets. Although it utilises a chemical firing mechanism, its operation and performance are comparable to a traditional gunpowder rifle. Due to its limited operational role, the weapon was never mass produced, but it later proved effective in combat against the Borg. While issued in limited numbers, the TR-116 remains an available option for officers when energy weapons are unsuitable.

Type 6-A shuttlecraft

The Type 6-A shuttlecraft is a versatile, warp-capable support vessel. Comparable in size to the Galileo class, it offers a balanced combination of range, manoeuvrability and passenger capacity.

Designed for short to mid range missions, the craft accommodates up to eight personnel, with a dual-seat cockpit and a compact aft cabin configured for both passengers and cargo.

The shuttle features integrated navigational deflectors, modernised nacelle configurations and a standard suite of flight control systems, making it well suited to transport, survey and general operations.

Type 15 Shuttlepod

The Type 15 shuttlepod is a compact, highly manoeuvrable support craft carried aboard many Starfleet vessels. Designed for short range operations, it serves as a reliable utility pod for quick transport, inspections and emergency response.

Typically operated by one or two crew, the shuttlepod features a small cockpit and configurable rear compartment, allowing limited space for passengers or cargo. Its streamlined systems prioritise efficiency and rapid deployment over comfort.

Equipped with impulse engines, manoeuvring thrusters and standard deflector shielding, the Type 15 is well suited to close range operations, with optional warp capability available on some variants.

Argo Shuttlecraft

The Argo type shuttle is a heavy duty, warp-capable support craft designed for planetary operations and tactical deployment. Larger and more rugged than standard shuttlecraft, it is equipped for both atmospheric flight and surface engagement.

Featuring reinforced hull plating, recessed nacelles and deployable wings for enhanced manoeuvrability, the Argo type is built to operate in challenging environments. Its integrated cargo bay houses an all-terrain buggy, allowing rapid ground deployment and extended mission capability.

Primarily used for military, security and high risk away missions, it combines transport capacity with durability, making it a reliable asset in hostile or unpredictable conditions.
