Welcome Aboard Guinevere!
2389 - In the shadow of the former Romulan Star Empire, an ancient secret has been uncovered—a dormant Transwarp Gate hidden in the depths of the former Neutral Zone and found by the Federation and Borg Reclamation Project has been reactivated and reprogrammed. It opens a direct passage into the Triangulum Galaxy, a realm untouched by Starfleet or any Milky Way exploration.
To meet this new challenge, Starfleet has ordered the USS Guinevere, a Helena Class starship retrofitted for intergalactic exploration and long-range diplomacy to cross through the gate and see what is on the other side.
Commanded by Commodore Elias McEntyre, a veteran of Wolf 359 and the Dominion Wars, the Guinevere leads a daring expedition into a galaxy untouched by Federation presence. Strange new worlds, remnants of ancient technologies, and first contact scenarios abound in this high-stakes mission to expand the reach—and ideals—of the United Federation of Planets.
Though all is not well in Triangulum. The theocratic Zandaryi Kingdoms dominate the known portions of Triangulum and will do whatever it takes to keep hold of its domain.
Guinevere is a brand new sim that aims to return to the glory days of exploration, action and adventure.

Mission: Prologue
Posted on Tue Jun 17th, 2025 @ 6:23pm by Commander Cressida Vale MD & Captain Niun Standing Bear
Niun entered Sickbay slowly, reluctance etched into every step, his dark blue gaze taking in the surroundings, quartering the room out of long habit. He spotted a nurse and walked up to her, his footsteps quiet, measured, and nodded as she told him where he could find the ship's Chief Medical Officer. One of the more odious parts of Starfleet, to his mind, was regular 'checkups' and worse, treatments for injuries. "Commander Vale," he asked, in accented Federation Standard, as he approached. "I'm Captain Standing Bear. Newly reported aboard."
"I heard you were coming aboard, Captain," Cressida said from beside…

Mission: Prologue
Posted on Mon Jun 16th, 2025 @ 9:12pm by Lieutenant Commander Drevas & Commander Cressida Vale MD
Now, Drevas didn't terribly mind doing all his checkups. For one, there's no use fighting due process - if not, due process comes to find you, Simple as that. He'd seen sickbay attendants drag his crew off mid training for whatever tests they'd neglected since God knows when. All in all, he'd save himself a lot of unnecessary trouble by just being a good, cooperative crewmate.
Besides, sickbay staff were, in his experience, already overworked and somewhat understaffed anyway - making their lives harder by making their jobs even harder to do wasn't the way to pay them back for…

Mission: Prologue
Posted on Mon Jun 16th, 2025 @ 2:56pm by Sergeant Jace Morven & Commander Cressida Vale MD
The familiar ache in his left foot throbbed quietly beneath the surface, the same dull, stubborn pain he’d carried since childhood. It was a weight he’d learned to ignore, but the doctor had suggested he repaired it.
Since then, he had noticed it more. Blocked it out, kept on with his day and duties, but it was more noticeable.
Jace Morven moved through the corridors of the USS Guinevere with measured steps, each one deliberate. The path to sickbay was no longer unfamiliar, no longer a test. Today, it was routine. For the doctor anyway, Jace had never come back…

Mission: Prologue
Posted on Mon Jun 16th, 2025 @ 1:46pm by Lieutenant JG Elen Rell & Captain Niun Standing Bear
Learning the ship was an Azhadi thing; living your life in service to aliens meant rapid learning -- their technology, their language, their vessels. It had been ingrained in him from his first days and while he hadn't had a chance to serve his I'mai (cursed be her for her treachery) for very long, the habit was already deeply ingrained. Some said that the Azhadi were born with the knowing of certain things but this was a mystery it had not been given to him to know.
And so, he wandered -- when not on duty, when he couldn't sleep,…

Mission: Prologue
Posted on Sun Jun 15th, 2025 @ 2:09pm by Commodore Elias McEntyre & Captain Niun Standing Bear
Elias stood excitedly at the docking port of the Guinevere. An exciting day. His previous first officer Commander Pheylin had been promoted to Captain and given his first command in the deep frontier. It was a bittersweet day when he left but Elias had been given a new first officer in the form of Captain Niun Standing Bear. Elias had read over his file. A member of the very elusive Mri species, a race of tribal warriors from Kulath.
That had been surprising. They had been known not to even travel among the stars, even more, the first contact with…
